Cup Crew Juniors U15 Squad Wins Disney Showcase
The Cincinnati United Premier (CUP) Crew Juniors concluded 2008 on a high note winning the 2008 Disney Showcase at Disney’s Wide World of Sports. After defeating The Baltimore Bays (3-1), North Atlanta SA (1-0) and The Florida Rush (3-1) in group play; the CUP Crew Juniors won their age group by defeating the Dallas Texans by a score of 1-0. read more »
Grand Rapids Crew Juniors U14 Boys Squad Wins Regional Final
The Grand Rapids Crew Juniors continued its success in the 2008 youth soccer postseason this week, as it defeated FC Milwaukee Blue, 3-0, Wednesday (June 25) in the championship final of the 2008 Youth Soccer Region II Championships in Rockford, Ill. The squad will now prepare for the 2008 U.S. Youth Soccer Championships to be held at the Burns Park Soccer Complex in Little Rock, Arkansas, July 22-27. read more »

MLS launches Youth Development Initiative
Major League Soccer charts new territory among major professional sports leagues in the United States by launching a youth development initiative that allows teams to acquire, outside of the annual draft, top young players from their respective local areas.
