Columbus Crew: Youth Development: Crew Youth Development


At the foundation of the Crew's burgeoning youth development system, made up of the Crew Soccer Academy (CSA) and Crew Juniors, is the belief that the long-range success of the program is critical to the growth of soccer in the United States in general, and to the Crew in particular.		The Crew Soccer Academy (CSA) is a critical step forward in the player development process and is the highest level of the Columbus Crew's youth model, specifically involving U16 and U18 teams that will participate in the new US Soccer Development Academy.


The official youth soccer club of the Columbus Crew, the Crew Juniors provide the critical base of The Crew's innovative player development pyramid. Crew Juniors will strive to form comprehensive partnerships with top clubs throughout Ohio to enhance the opportunity and exposure for youth players.


The Crew Juniors are committed to sharing their resources and building partnerships with outstanding clubs regionally.		A significant part of the Crew's commitment to their youth programs is to strive to assemble the finest coaching staff in the MLS and be committed to their long-term development through continuing education.
