Was a teammate of Gustavo's at Gimnasia and also briefly at Boca... Gustavo once played in the USL First Division for Puerto Rico... His biography, "Guillermo, el terrible. Historia de un ídolo" ("Guillermo the Menace. History of an Idol"), written by Pablo Vicente and Sergio Maffei, was published in May 2006. It features a prologue by César Luis Menotti, head coach of Argentina's 1978 World Cup-winning team, and comments by such soccer luminaries as Diego Maradona, Carlos Bianchi, Carlos and Daniel Passarella.
